Sculptural Costume: Tree Women
The Tree Women headwear and armbands created for the female performers in Islands were inspired by the art of Made Winata and the branches of the nutmeg tree. The headwear and armband bases were created with fosshape, painted, layered with textured materials, and then curly willow branches were added.
