Cybele Moon

Sculptural Costume: Wings

 

These sculptural wings were created for the Angel character in the play 'Marisol'. After discussions with the Director, Eddie Torres, Cybele chose to recreate the feathered look of wings by utilizing a layering of pages which represented various text from bibles in many languages. The structure was created using cardboard and paper and the costume shop manager created a fosshape structure between the wings and the back to attach it to the corset the Angel was wearing.
